The Will to Survive
In this picture I decided to take a photo of a bundle of beautiful flowers that i happened to walk by. I happened to be walking a long in a forest by my house and was lucky enough to spot this cute thing. I chose this composition because I loved how there was a group of flowers trying with all their might to live though winter. I loved how there was no flowers around them, it was just them and their will to survive. The message I was trying to convey was that life is beautiful. I had a lot of trouble focusing on the flowers without making the background blurring. Finally I discover if you didn’t get as close to the flowers the background will focus better.
Climb the Trees
This next picture I thought I could take a picture of this mesmerizing old tree that happened to be right in my front yard. I chose to take this image right where it is because all the branches from other trees creep in to the picture which makes this image look so cool. What I really thought made this picture look good was how all the leaves were green except this one vine that swirled around the tree. I thought this really made the image pop. I am trying to convey a feeling of warmth is this cold season that is just around the corner. I loved how the sun was in just the right place for this image.
What Lays Beyond?
I took this picture at one of my favorite places, the Huron River. I have so many different memories walking down this path with my family. I really like this angle because it made you think what is beyond the river, what lays ahead. I chose this composition because I loved how you can see the grass along with the pond and the forest behind. Just with this angle, you can see everything. I was attempting to convey a feeling of space, I want you to feel like there is so much around you and it is such a big world. I had a lot of trouble finding the perfect angle but I am really happy with how it turned out.
